wow - you hit the jackpot with that beautiful and friendly rooster. it bewilders me why home shoppers don't share your excitement over the chickens. i'd think that it makes your home seem more fun than drab, old cookie cutter homes for sale.

Your rooster is gorgeous! It is such a detailed picture of the whole rooster. I would like to ask your permission to let me draw and watercolor it. I will get some copies made and send you if you would like. If this is ok with you just send me how to mail it to you when my painting is finished. Thanks, Marilyn

Absolutely beautiful!

I hope you don't mind; I captured a picture to put with the poem I just put up on my site.

If you don't want it there, please let me know and I'll remove it, but it is so pretty.

It doesn't look like my landlady's rooster, but he's beautiful too - he wouldn't allow me to get a picture of him . . . .

I got tired of tracking his messes in my place and shoo him away, so he avoids me; for some reason, he likes to hang around my car and leaves his messes there for me to find when I go to my car at night.

I went to your web page off of Google and have a couple of questios. My first question is We have one, also but we got him at a later time in his life and woundering if he looked like yours with a bright red waddle. His is older red looking so I gusses I'm asking do you know about how old he might be. My Second question is how old is to old to breed them. My final qetion is do we sepate them from the eggs or do we wait until we see babies. We have him in a coop with three RhodeIsland red hens. They have became a part of the family. And would love to see my kids faces when we have babies.

                                                       Thank you,

Nice looking rooster, but if you get a broody hen with no eggs under her, you need to stop this behavior or it can actually kill her eventually. If you have other chickens laying, slip a few of them under her, and she will hatch them for you! Good luck!
