At one point during that day I had the male and female on the tree but did not get a photo of it. Monarch, I had a couple raise some babies in a tree in our backyard last year. The male has been here for a couple of years - but rarely do I see the female. She popped in yesterday and had me curious since she looks "bald" compared to the male! They're magnificent!
